Course Overview
During this course you will learn different systems of coping and repairing damage on a psychological level. You will become familiar in dealing with all kinds of emotional outbursts such as crying and laughing. Along with talking, support seeking and dreams, you will also learn that the situation and nature of the person with impact upon their behaviour and response to the counsellor and the counselling methods.

Lesson 2: Psychoanalytical psychotherapy ll – Adler
Lesson 3: Humanistic/Existential approaches I – Gestalt Therapy; Fritz Perls
Lesson 4: Humanistic/Existential approaches II – Person-Centred Counselling; Carl Rogers
Lesson 5: Rational behavioural therapy – Albert Ellis
Lesson 6: Cognitive behavioural therapy – Aaron Beck
Lesson 7: Behavioural therapy
Lesson 8: Solution-focused counselling
Entry requirements
There are no general entry requirements for this course, just your drive, motivation, and passion for the industry. You may enrol into this course at any time and begin studying shortly after enrolment.
Duration study load
We allow up to 12 months to complete this course, although your actual completion time may be less depending on prior experience and the time you commit to your study. Approx 100 hours.
