Course Overview

Being a teacher’s aide is not just supporting the teacher in their teachings, but also assisting the children in their learning.

This course focuses on support for students with learning difficulties and special needs. To enhance your learning experience this course requires you to do 120 hours of hands on placement, in an approved education environment. Some students may apply to be exempt of these hours if they already work in the industry.

While it is generally preferred that participants complete the Certificate III in Education Support first, those with experience or a previous qualification in education or working with children may request direct entry into the Certificate IV.
